What's a good answer when your aksed what your short/long term goals are in an interview?

In my case, having graduated in May my short term goal is simply to pay off my student loans but I can't really say that in an interview. Long term I want to go law school, but again I can't really say that because it implies I won't be there long. Any suggestions?
