What's the best way to get a job at Yahoo!?

I am about to finish a 3 month contract working for Yahoo. I see lots of openings for permanent positions that I am qualifed for, but all my applications seem to get ignored. I've tried Linked-in, internal and external applications, even calling up the hiring manager directly. How do I attract the attention of the recruiters? After all - I've proved that I am a good employee.
